1FontestorbesThe intermittent fountain of Fontestorbes (11 km) is a natural curiosity : it runs for 20 minutes, then stops 20 min, with a flow rate of maximuim 1800 l / min. A tree-climbing course is also installed.
2GorgesLaFrauGorges de la Frau (13 km) will lead you into a wild and impressive scenery to Comus : the canyon is 300 to 400 m high, and it stretches for about 3km. In Occitan, his name means "divide". Some think it comes from the word "terror". It is said that this is where a pyrenean bear was seen for the last time.
3ForetBelestaForest of Bélesta (17 km) : famous for its pines, it is an ancient royal forest of 800 hectares, formerly used for the masts of boats. You can walk on trails, or picnic, or simply relax in the cool of the trees.
4TalcTrimounsIn operation since 1850, the talc mine of Trimouns (63 km) produces 300,000 tonnes of talc per year. It is accessible from Luzenac. It is better to visit on a clear day to enjoy the view over the surrounding peaks. Please ask for a visit at 05 61 64 68 05.
5RoquefortLesCascadesAt Roquefort Les Cascades (20 km) you can visit petrifying waterfalls 30 m high, in a natural site. They have produced something rare and very fragile : tuff, composed of powdered  and friable limestone, white to beige.
6GorgesPierreLysThe river Aude, Pyrenees racing down from its source, has carved into the limestone a following of majestic canyons, including that of Pierre-Lys (45 km). This canyon (2 km long, 20 m wide, with cliffs over 300 m), located between the picturesque villages of Belvianes-and-Cavirac and Saint-Martin-Lys is a natural major site of Cathar Country.
7GorgesRebentyimagesFor 14 km, from the canyon of Adoux (Merial) to that of Joucou, through those of Niort and Able, the Rébenty stream flows along the D107, through wonderful green canyons. He joined the river Aude in the canyon of Pierre-Lys.
8RiviereLabouicheLabouiche underground river (40 km) : you will board for a cruise at 60 meters underground. You will follow the underground river about 1.5 km, installed in a boat. Inquire for schedules : 05 61 65 04 11
9GorgesGalamusGalamus Canyons (77 km) stretch north of Saint Paul de Fenouillet, where are the deepest part of the canyons and the site ranked the Hermitage Galamus. This site, remarkably preserved, houses exceptional flora and fauna.
